HTC and LG optimistic to face 2010 Challenges

After the recession period in 2009 where the Taiwanese mobile company faced a lot of competition for its earlier Android monopoly is expecting 2010 to be quite profitable for themselves. It is positively expecting a 7% rise in their quarterly revenue which is going to be higher than the TWD31.6bn that was recorded a year ago.

UBS analyst Arthur Hsieh was of the opinion that the margins that HTC has kept are quite less but they will have to agree to that because if they will want to aim at the mass market then the prices will decrease. Year-on-year the profits of HTC kept falling down and this made a drastic change in their revenue. This was happening only because they were spending a lot of time and money on the marketing and promoting of their windows based mobile phones and android phones in the heavy US and UK smart phone markets.

The Google Nexus One has brought HTC in the light too; this will make HTC’s latest phones Bravo and the HD2 of Android and WinMo technology well known in the same market.

Cloud Based Mobile Application profits may reach $9.5 billion till 2014

According to a research done by the Juniper Research opened that the twelve-monthly revenue for the cloud based mobile application is likely to touch $9.5 billion by 2014, chiefly because of the increasing demand for joint and mutual services along with the usage of mobile broadband services.

The research firm notes that the expansion should include the operation of the main technological enablers which includes HTML5 and the Smart Card Web Server from the open mobile alliance. It’s also said in the report that the enterprise application is probably going to give the accounts for most of the revenues are within the span of five years. It also looks like the consumer oriented applications are supposed to raise a large percentage of the complete revenue.

By Juniper Research it has also come to light that a lot of the enterprise customers are not ready to give out their personal data to the strange third parties and even these are the centre of concern connecting to the high rise in the profits. The cloud based mobile application companies not only have to assure the customers that their data is safely protected but also the information they give out is kept by using the backup data strategies.
